Morozko — Ivanushka

The Ivanushka look from the Soviet fairy tale film “Morozko” (1964, also known as “Father Frost”) is a tribute to a classic of Russian cinema. The costume is made in the style of traditional Russian folk clothing with fairy tale elements.

The shirt is sewn from linen fabric with embroidery, topped with a warm sheepskin coat with fur trim. The look is completed with a leather belt and traditional footwear. All elements are selected to best convey the atmosphere of a Russian winter fairy tale.

The photo shoot took place outdoors in winter, adding authenticity and a fairy-tale quality to the look.
